SALEM, the Traverse City/Chicago based trio have announced the worldwide release of their debut album King Night, out September 28th on IAMSOUND RECORDS. Mixed by DAVE SARDY, the album accents SALEM's ability to create chilling soundscapes, striking a delicate balance between menacing and serene.

Following a series of limited edition 7" singles released throughout 2008 and 2009, the band has already garnered the attention of The FADER, The New York Times, LA Weekly, and Pitchfork.

Restless People To Release 'Restless People' Debut Album On IAMSOUND Sept. 14

Restless People are a pop group from Brooklyn, NY. They're four friends who have been working together on different projects (Tanlines, Professor Murder, Family Edition) for years. When they get together they talk about the internet, jeans, shoes, car repair, jobs, barber shops, positivity, sports, seltzer, appropriation, beer, relationships, style, pretzels and reality. They talk about music using adjectives like punk, pop, adult contemporary, global, dance and emotional. They argue with each other and tell lots of jokes.

FOOL'S GOLD Announce East Coast And European Tour Dates

FOOL'S GOLD have announced new tour dates across the East Coast, along with several European festival dates which include Reading and Leeds. Check out all the new tour dates listed below.

APACHE BEAT To Release Debut Album 'Last Chants' Oct. 5

After sharing stages with some of music's most original bands, from Gossip to Crystal Castles, New York City's APACHE BEAT has finally completed their debut album.

'Last Chants' is set to be released on October 5th and features guest work from "The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Rapture, and Lightspeed Champion."

APACHE BEAT's ability to create songs that unveil "...escalating drama and aggression" to "mutating melod[ies] and synth drones" have attracted the attention of Pitchfork and Nylon's music gurus for years. It is no surprise then, that Vulture and Stereogum have nothing but praise for their forthcoming album.

Fake Problems Has "One Of The Best Albums Of 2010"

Moon & Back Music is singing the praises of Fake Problems and their producer TED HUTT. Of the forthcoming album 'Real Ghosts Caught On Tape,' the review exclaims,"it punches you in the face with a plethora of sounds, all of them building up and easing the listener into a fantastic audio experience."

Come to the Hollywood Bowl tonight and help celebrate music legend Herbie Hancock's 70th birthday! Along with the birthday boy, musical guests will include many artists who contributed to 'The Imagine Project,' such as Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, India.Arie, Juanès, and The Imagine Project Band. LARRY KLEIN produced the album.

TIM PALMER produced the new Goo Goo Dolls album 'Something For The Rest Of Us' which has shot to #3 on the iTunes album chart after it's release last Friday. The band is currently on tour through the fall in support of the new album.

Arcade Fire's New Video Is A "Powerful Emotional Experience"

Arcade Fire has released a new, interactive music video for their single "We Used To Wait" off their new album 'The Suburbs.' The brilliant, nostalgic piece was designed by the band and Chris Milk in conjunction with the new Google Chrome browser, which it's designed to be viewed in.

As Pitchfork.com, who has all the info on the new "experience" as they're calling it says, "Arcade Fire's new video for "We Used to Wait" turns that feeling into a pretty powerful emotional experience."
