Ting Tings Play To 'Biggest' Crowd at Glastonbury

The Ting Tings played before one of the biggest crowds of the weekend at Glastonbury this evening. The band played the John Peel Stage which was not only filled to capacity, there were almost as many people watching the show from outside the big top tent. Taking to the stage slightly late due to traffic problems on the way, even the stage's announcer was caught up in the occasion, declaring it was "the biggest crowd we've ever had on the John Peel Stage". The band then took to the stage, kicking off with an minimalist version of 'We Walk'. The duo then tore through the likes of 'Great DJs', 'Traffic Light' and iPod advert track 'Shut Up And Let Me Go'.

"This is the biggest gig we've ever played," declared singer Katie White midway through the set, before adding, "or will ever play!"

The band then got the whole of their massive crowd singing loudly as they finished with recent Number One 'That's Not My Name'.

Their album was mixed by DAVE SARDY.

The Ting Tings could net their first number one single this Sunday in the UK singles chart, with "That's Not My Name" (Columbia) making headway in the charts, the track was mixed by DAVE SARDY.

Silhouettic, the anthemic first single from The Birds Of Tokyo's highly anticipated new album which was mixed by TIM PALMER, has been a favorite on Australian radio stations around the country for the past 5 weeks. THE MATRIX are cutting tracks with Miranda Cosgrove the star of the hit Nickelodeon show iCarly.

ATTICUS ROSS is keeping busy with NIN, Union Of Knives, the Hughes Brothers, and Grace Jones.

Last night the new Nine Inch Nails album The Slip, Co-Produced by ATTICUS ROSS became available as a free download. The single "Discipline," which was released last-week is already sitting at #5 on KROQ¹s most played chart. This is hot on the heels of the 36 track instrumental album Ghosts, which was also Co-Produced by Atticus, just being released in March. While getting ready to produce the new Union Of Knives album, Atticus was asked to score the Hughes Brothers section of the upcoming movie, New York I Love You. The film will debut at Cannes, and features contributions from a number of well-known filmmakers, as well as the directorial debut for both Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman. Atticus also just re-mixied a new Grace Jones single due to be released in June. The original recording was produced by Ivor Guest and features contributions from both Brian Eno, and the original Compass Point band.

Walter Becker's "Circus Money" out June 10th

Walter Becker, Grammy Award-winning co-founder of Steely Dan and Grammy Award-winning producer LARRY KLEIN have just wrapped up mastering Walterπs second solo album "Circus Money." The Album, produced by Larry Klein was recorded in New York City, with overdubs and mixing done at Market Street Studios in Santa Monica by recent Grammy Award-winner HELIK HADAR. "Circus Money" is slated for June 10 release on the 12 OVER 5 label, distributed by Mailboat Records.

SUNNY LEVINE on KCRW's New Ground

SUNNY LEVINE joined Chris Douridas on KCRW's New Ground on Saturday for an in studio interview and performance. Sunny spoke to Chris about his work producing tracks for Happy Mondays and Mickey Avalon, as well as producing Pete Yorn's forthcoming project, "Pete and Scarlett Break Up" due out in the fall.
