Tom Biller
Tom Biller is a producer, engineer and musician living in Pasadena, CA. He established himself in the recording industry working beside Jon Brion as his engineer, during which time he won a Grammy for Kanye West’s “Late Registration,” as well as worked on albums by Fiona Apple, Elliot Smith and Brad Mehldau. In addition he mixed and engineered soundtracks for “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Punch-Drunk Love” and “I Heart Huckabees.”
As an independent producer and engineer he recorded and mixed the soundtrack for “Where the Wild Things Are” with Karen O and the Kids. The song “Hideaway” from that album was nominated for an Academy Award. He has also produced, engineered and mixed records with Sean Lennon, Warpaint, Liars, Silversun Pickups and Kate Nash, as well as many other artists locally and internationally. He recently recorded and mixed the score for the Emmy-winning documentary, “Wild Wild Country.”
In his spare time he enjoys working as a luthier, restoring and building guitars.
